This week on Build Shop I'm checking out a possible Marksman PvP build for the hunters out there. Hunters have been underrepresented in the Arena until recently, but they've been a staple in battlegrounds for a long while, so it's nice to see them finally gaining a foothold. Today's build focuses on increasing stamina, survivability, ranged damage, and picking up a few nifty utility skills. This is definitely more of a PvP build, and as such you'll want gear that maximizes your ranged attack power, resilience, and stamina to support it. Once you're geared up though, this build should serve you quite well.
One thing this build doesn't include that I'm curious to hear your thoughts on is Improved Arcane Shot. It seems like with the new dispelling power of this shot, you'd want to take this talent but I can't find 5 points to spare for it from anywhere. Perhaps that's why I haven't seen too many builds that have it, but I'd like to hear your thoughts. Is it worth it, or is it more situational? Better in some brackets but not in others? These are some of the questions I'm hoping you can help me answer (because honestly, I don't PvP on my Hunter... I PvP with my Warlock). Read on for my dissection of the 0/45/16 build!

The classes are there already, slapping them on a different model with a few different NON-game breaking racials here and there isn't going to make a guild down Illidan or not. Why would any class quests need tuning at all? All I could see is a few new quests being added and some new trainers.
As for spreading races too thin, I think the main reason is that TBC added only 2 new options. BEs and Draenei. Hence, many many people tried them out and we're stuck with tons of both races. We're looking at the same thing when Death Knights hit. Only adding one or two options at a time is asking for a dump of interest into those two options, simply because they are new.

Azuarc's leveling guide for Alliance, Act 7: Stranglethorn Vale, Part 1 (levels 33-35)
Stranglethorn Vale is a massive, massive zone. There's only one other zone before Outland that compares, and that's in Horde territory. The jungles of STV are vast, and contain loads of quests.
In addition to its size, there are three other items worth remarking on in the zone. The first is PvP. If you play on a PvP server, this zone is sheer hell. See recommended alternatives if you get fed up – those zones will still be bad, it just comes with the level range, but they won't be as bad.

wat do u guys think of how u can buy your way to like lvl 70 or watever i think its crap u should just do it the old way
Buying my way to 70...It's a nice thought. New players should definitely have to level up to max level for their first character, since Blizzard put together this huge world for us to explore. It's something that the game was designed for, level up characters so you can raid/PvP with the best of them.

The race choice is an easy one since you have only two options: a Tauren fighting with the Horde, or a Night Elf as a member of the Alliance. The choice is mostly aesthetic, but the racial abilities do make a little bit of difference in the way you will play your druid. The character stat differences are negligible and they shouldn't affect your decision. If you have friends already playing the game, simply choose based on their faction.

Yeah, I subscribe to Cedega, because I support what they're doing.
But tbh I rarely get to use it.
Steam doesn't work anymore, and WoW works much better with a default Wine installation, than it does with Cedega.
Using a guide from the Ubuntu forums... abbreviated a little...

Okay. I tried putting the line into the WTF file, I also tried putting -opengl into the command line options of Cedega. Either way it doesn't work. I get a blank screen and everything freezes up. Sometimes the music continues playing. Any ideas?

1. you are addressing the WRONG company.
2. tens of thousands of sigs have provided NOTHING.
3. TG just wants their money so they have no incentive for helping Activision Blizzard port for linux and lose money.

I like others am experiencing random graphics corruption in the form of textures sometimes being wrong, seems to be associated with LOD too since if you zoom in the texture is correct while at farther distances it's using the incorrect texture. Most annoying is flashing water, but has any one found a proper work around for this? Has anyone tried the latest Nvidia drivers and do they fix this issue?
